If I want to add a usb 2.0 pci card does it matter what setup I have?

All I want to do is add a usb 2.0 pci card to the system below. What I would really like is one with ports out the back and also pin connectors on the card to plug my front case usb/firewire ports into. I'm not really familiar with these so any advise would be great.

Also, do they have any combos with a firewire connector on them or do I need to buy the same kind of firewire card?

the one i have does not plug into the pci slots, it just takes up a back sliot like it was plugged into one. it has usb and firewire on it. just connect the cables from the ports to the motherboard and you got extra usb and firewire.

mine came with a previous motherboard but i'm sure you can buy them separately.
