If I swap two HDs from two computers

Mo0o

Will there be any problems I should consider? Both are single HDs on computers w/o slave/master issues

More info needed.

Are these boot drives?

If so, they likely should be fine, but if Windows doesn't like the new surroundings, strange things could happen 🙂

Mind elaborating the swap part? Are you trying to swap the boot HD between two different systems? If that's the case, you might want to get a 3rd HD into the equation and use Ghost to clone HD #1 into 3rd HD, clone HD #2 to HD #1, then clone 3rd HD (now HD #1) to HD #2.

If they are 2ndary HDs you should have zero issues.

If they're boot drives, then yes, there are going to be problems.

If your motherboards have different chipsets, you're most likely not going to be able to boot. You need to uninstall a bunch of drivers and whatnot- take a look at this thread on another forum to get an idea of what needs to be done before you start switching boot drives.

Translation: Windows NEVER like new hardware surroundings, so strange things will happen.
