Hey io was wondering... if i sold around december this rig:

Opteron 165 w/ stock fan
2 gig g.skill ram
aerocool case
3 80mm fans
1 120mm fan
1 80gig hard drive
1 dvd burner (unknown speed)
dfi-lanparty mobo
7900gt 256mb
Samsung 19" monitor
logitech (thx) speakers
neatgear wireless card

do you guys think i could get sya....enough to afford a macbook pro (the 2000$ one) or like maybe 1500 for the rig...

hmm i gues i'll have to choose if i want to sell out faster .... grrranoying ... i should just ge ta laptop but i can't afford both haha.

This is a price check... no price checks on AT. You've got a PM. Do you have that rig right now? Why ask if you can't afford it?

Ya, I would say no more than 1300, but I would say if it had a legit copy of XP pro then I would say 1100 to 1200 for sure right now. In december maybe only, all depending, 800-900. Don't forget that your GPU, PROC, RAM, OS, Monitor will all be pretty much obsolete by January. 20.1" monitors are in, not 19".

honestly I don't think you could get a macbook pro but maybe a macbook.

you could always sell it than save up some money and get a macbook pro 🙂 if your not going to use the graphics card really on the macbook pro than i'd suggest getting the macbook because the specs are basically the same except the graphics card.

well i love gaming i just have a feeling i will want smaller thing when i go to college evn tho i love my rig now........... we'll see but i'm just thinking .

Keep it. You will regret it. As long as you still love it you will never get the denero that is worth the performance of your rig. Also, I would never by a Apple comp, build everything yourself, even laptops (ASUS whitebox notebooks).
