If i RMA my IBM hard drive, will they care what i have on it?

MP3s and Divx are legal if you own the original. I really doubt the techs at IBM care. Hell, I bet that if you have some good stuff, they'll copy it over for themselves

They won't care. They have a mountain of the illustrious GXP-75 and 60 series piled up in the receiving docks -- no time for somebody to go through your porn collection.

Dunno about legal status of MP3s, but owning DivX rips of DVD movies is very illegal (cracking DeCSS protected by DMCA). Either way, if that's all you have I doubt anybody will care.

lol, I forgot to format my western digital before I sent it in... they didn't care... I just low level formatted a 120 gig hard drive... buhahaha, 12 hours for it to complete :)

heh, spoke too soon, but I know that if you have the original, MP3s are legal
