I don't want to force people to pay for pic hosting, but bandwidth is starting to get expensive. I've done 20gb of transfer so far this month, and since the begginning of the year when I started the site, I've done about 37gb of transfer. Each month I do significantly more than the last. At the current rate of increase, I should use over 30gb of bandwidth next month, and also fill my disk quota.

Here's the stats since the start of the year:
Total Requests: 912,777
Total Bytes Served: 37,151,953,754
Distinct Hosts Served: 89,121
Distinct Files Served: 41,601

Anyway, hosting this is starting to get expensive, and it's all coming out of my pocket. I'm jsut looknig to see if people would volunteer to help me with the hosting costs if I gave them the opportunity.

Nope, I'm broke as a joke and could do my own pic hosting pretty easily should the need arise.

for the large AVI and MP3 files, set up a bittorrent stream to off some of the load to those actually using it. however dont ask me how to, i have no idea.

I've never heard of it, so no. From experience I've found donations never work. You need to stop kidding yourself and host some ads. With the number of unique impressions on your site you shouldn't have problems getting some sponsors.

Why not arrange something with Anandtech? Maybe $1 would go to you per month from every signed up paid forum member, and you would provide them with a few megs of free hosting... Both you and Anandtech wins.
