Yes, full quality even...with HL2 Lost Coast and the HDR stuff however I had a decent decrease in performance (1280x1024, however)...but thanks to a bargain for a second 6600GT it's SLI-time soon... :D

yup, with that killer cpu you can play doom3 and halflife2 at near max or even max detail settings. for lost coast, you might have to lessen the detail but otherwise it will run just fine

lost coast is too laggy to be really playable with max details full HDR/no AA/8xAF with my 6600GT (@570/1145) :( Farcry really is almost too slow with 2xaa/8xaf and max details at 1024 as well, as is FEAR with max details/no soft shadows/0xaa/8xaf. Serious Sam 2 with max details and HDR on was a bit laggy as well i found. (all this at 1024/85hz, high quality).

everything else is hawt at 1024/85hz

EDIT: and i play at 1024 max details and the settings i mention since i love teh eye candy

You've gotta be kidding? I'm running Q4, D3, HL2, CS:S, etc. on my rig buttery smooth at 1024x768, some with AA even :p

Dug777, are you serious your 6600 GT core speed is 670 MHz? Anyway, I play all games at 1024x768 with medium settings (no AA/AF ) and never drop under 40 FPS even on games like FEAR, and Quake 4.
