I'm thinking about getting a 2001FP (if anyone remembers my earlier lcd threads, my dad upped his offer). So I'm wondering--how long would it take to arrive? I've read about some bad delays on computers from Dell, and if I get pushed off like a month or something, I'd have to order now.
That is...I'm leaving for Taiwan/China on thursday, and I won't be back till the end of July. I go up to college near the end of August...so I'd like to have this thing by like...2nd week of august so I can make sure everything works. Once school starts, there will be plenty else to deal with, I'm sure. So if I get back at the end of July, and it takes 3-4 weeks to arrive...that'd be bad...and I would have to order now. If it only takes 1-2 weeks, I'll wait and hope for a sale. (I can get it for $809 right now thru my school, but $750 is always better)
