If I only had a mouse and keyboard...

So I perhaps this wasn't the wisest thing to do, but I was searching through my old HD and found a program call "mouseware". Bristling with overconfindence I proceded to install. My computer immediately reboots after installation and I can no longer use my mouse/keyboard!
This presents more than the usual problem because I cannot go anywhere in Windows (2000). I have been through all the special boots in the Advanced Startup options as well :(

does anyone know a fix to this without formating the drive? thanks

Have NTFS or FAT?
Also, try to use a usb or ps2 k-board, or a serial mouse.

Cant you just press F8 at startup and select, "LAST GOOD CONFIGURATION"?

That normally works
