If I install XP on new HD, can I access my old Win ME files on my old drive?

I am going to do a fresh install of XP on a 60GB drive but will I be able to access my old files on my old 18GB (win ME) drive if I hook it up as a slave to the new hard drive that has XP on it. (Instead of backing everything up)???

yup, XP can read your winME drive just fine.

Works great - you can even set it up as a dual boot system.
