If I install windows xp will I have to delete everything from my harddrives?

I do not want dual boot or anything like that I just want windows xp on my computer. I have two harddrives in my computer, and my question is this: Can I transfer everything like all my mp3's and music videos to one harddrive and install windows xp on the other one, and then transfer everything onto the harddrive with windows xp and reformat the other harddrive, or am I going to have to back everything up and then put it all back onto my computer afterwards?

This isn't exactly general hardware...

You can transfer all of your MP3s and videos to another partition/hard drive, then install Windows, then transfer back. There is no need to wipe EVERYTHING.
