if i install on a NTFS formatted disk, will i be able to access the contents of another hard drive that is FAT-32?

just wondering cause I wanna do a clean install of XP on a fresh hard disk, but still want to keep all my old files and winme on my old hard disk

Yes, it should work fine. But you won't be able to access anything on the XP partition while you're in ME.
