If I go to the library and use their computers, does each have a seperate IP address?

Hello, I was wondering under a LAN (such as the library), does each computer have a seperate IP address? Thanks

How the hell would we know? There's no standard for library IP settings. 😛 It's most likely that they're all plugged into a router. That would mean that there is 1 external IP for the router, and individual internal IPs for the PCs. Then again, they could be running through a DMZ and each have their own individual external IPs. Just stop by your local library and find out -If you CAN. That is, if the PCs aren't completely locked down like they should be, anyway.

Just go to a command line and do an ipconfig.

If the IP address is:
10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255
172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255
192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255
169.254.0.0 -169.254.255.255
Then they use NAT.

lol, have u used a library computer? u cant get to a cmd line lol

jus go online, and go to whatsmyip.net or the other 1000 there are, and if one comp gets same ip as the other, then its router

and if not, then its DMZ
