If I get the dish or some satelite cable provider, can I get CBC?

I guess it comes down to, can I get national channels from other countries? Even if it costs extra? CBC is a canadian TV channel that has hockey on Friday and Saturday nights.
 
US color commentary freakin sucks is my guess why.

Hockey coverage is about the *only* thing CBC does OK. It sure as hell isn't their left-biased news coverage.

Nope. That won't work, CBC is not on any DVB/FTA satellite. Only on BEV with is Nagra 2 with ROM102 cards.
