If I get a 2700+, can I swap it out with my old 2100+, without any problems?

I am running:

My friend ordered a xp2700 from www.tufshop.com, and it looks like the board he ordered with it is DOA, but he didn't report it within 24 hours of reciept (as per Tufshop.com's DOA policy), so he may have to pay a 20% restocking fee to return it, or deal with the weeks of waiting to try and get it fixed. So, that said, I may be able to get the chip for 20% off, or maybe less since he would have to re-pack, ship, and ensure it. :cool:
