If I dont care about AA and AS-Filtering whats the best video card I need?

I want to get a laptop and want to keep it for a while. I want to play games at 1280 x 1024. I currently do this with an Athlon 64 2800+, 1 gig of ram, and a geforce mx440. How much power is required out of a mobile card to attain this same level?
 
Nothing less powerfull than a 9800 mobility, if you want any future proofing I'd opt for something faster. Honestly, if I were you and had your needs I would get the I9300 with the 6800 Go. People are getting them so cheap with the discounts and the Vid card should hold you out for quite some time with the settings you suggested.
