If i do *67, will the number show up on my bill ?

i dont want my dad wanting to know i talk to specific ppl, i have sprint, and if i *67 the number when i dial, would it come on the phone bill ?

well actually my dad doesnt want me to talk to girls..its a culture problem...and religious thing...so i want to block those number because ive been using alot of minutes lately talking to my girlfriend. thats the problem, and hes gonna call teh number that shows up the most to see who it is.

Is you dad the type to look at every call log on your cell phone number? If we've talking land llne, is he the type to look at every number on the home phone bill?

When father paid my bills I'm pretty sure he just looked at the total and signed a check. If something looked horribly out-of-wack he'd ask me then ask my mother(she was the usually the cause of extra minutes, admittedly I was usually the cause of the txt messages).

If you're really worried get your own number through a cell company, a pre-paid cell company or Skype. Problem solved.


But to answer your question, *67 only makes one's number private to the receiving end. It's still going to show up on the phone bill for the phone making the call. Depending on the phone company it might even be highlighted on a specific section of the bill, making said specific number stick out.

tweakmm speaks the truth...you can't block the number from showing up on the bill with any of the *67 type codes. You can block/unblock your own number, do a call-back on a hang-up caller, etc, but if the call goes through, that number is going to show up on your bill...If you're playing childish games behind your parent's back, and are afraid of the consequences if/when you get caught, then maybe it's time to pay for your own pre-paid service...
