If I could only get on a good diet, I would be in really good shape.

As it stands, I'm in shape and exercise a lot, but then go eat a bunch of things that are bad for me. I love food too much. This prevents me from getting in really good shape.

For instance. Today I woke up at 6:30. Worked out from 7:30-9:00, then came back and fried some bacon, made scrambled eggs in the bacon grease, put bacon and eggs in 2 flour tortillas and put loads of cheese in them.

Doh! 😱

Anyone else have similar problems?

I have had the same problem. It comes down to making yourself stop. If you really want to get into great shape, you have to want that more than you want the food. Pretty simple, and easy to say... not so easy to do.

i think you can still eat pretty badly if you do enough cardio. i eat somewhat ok but i don't deny myself anything if i really crave it. that will just lead to binging on bad food.

if you really want to eat well i suggest either:

trying to eat VERY well for 2 weeks. after that, greasy bad foods may start to make you feel sick and that may help be a deterrent.

or

read into the body-for-life diet. it has you eat a somewhat restricted diet(though i found it fine) for 6 days of the week, then on the 7th day you can eat anything you want.
