A friend of mine thought he didn't take out his contact and he ended up trying to rip his cornea (I think that's the right part) out of his eye for a couple hours... he thought his contact was stuck and he just couldn't for the life of him get it out.

He ended up going to the hospital where they told him he didn't have a contact in.

Luckily no lasting damage :)

I'll stick with glasses hehe.

That's the million dollar question.

Oh, it was irritating me so I tried to take it out of my eye withour a mirror. Poked myself in the eye instead, and then couldn't feel the contact anymore. So I don't know if it's still in my eye or not. Being that I can't feel it at all and haen't felt it for the last 30 minutes, I'm just going to conclude that it is no longer there.

Well if your vision is noticably worse, then your contact is not on your eye. If you can't tell if your vision is worse, wtf are you doing wearing contacts in the first place?

Could've slipped off to the side of my eyeball. But yea, since I'm not feeling anything at all, I'll just assume it's gone.

Seriously, when my lens slips, I just do this:

Put a bunch of cleaner/rewetting drops in.

Gently "scoot" the lens toward my cornea by repeatedly lifting my eyelid away from my eye - looking in the direction I want the lens to go - then closing my eye and looking where my lens is.

For example, if your lens is stuck "above" your eyeball:

Pull your eyelid away from your eye - look down - close your eye - look up... repeat this several times and the lens will eventually drop out of your eye. Be patient, keep your eye well lubricated, and never go "digging" for the lens.

edit: ^What he said.

I've had it slip to the top before, just put some eye drops in your eye, blink a few times. You should be able to feel it if your eye isn't too dry. Then try lifting your eyelid a little to see if you can see it (it will probably go upwards if it isn't visible in the mirror)

hey jackass, you're still not answering anyone's questions...

DO YOU NOTICE A CHANGE IN VISION? If you can't see well, then yes it's gone or to the side of your (but if that were the case, it'd hurt some and you'd feel it)

seriously, how dumb are you? why is it so hard for you to tell us if your vision has changed. At least 3 people have asked and all you do is give some bs answer to dodge the question. moron, please D I A F. k thx.

Maybe it fell out?

Maybe it rolled around to the back of your eye where it will slowly start to eat away and cause a major eye infuction. Thus resulting in a total loss of vision and a big hole where your eye USED to be...... No worries :)

Or, you can juse go up to a mirror, open your eye, and using yoru finger, try to see if you can move the contact around......

just wash your hand and touch your pupil very lightly

if the contact is there you should be able to feel it but it shouldnt be that irritating

if it is not there than it should be very uncomfortable
