Is there any reason to get a 9600 pro over a 9500 pro??? I found a 9500 pro online for the same price... what are your guys thoughs??


Also which ATI brand is the best VisionTek, Sapphire... etc??

9500 pro would definitley better. They don't overclock quite as well as a 9600 pro, but at stock speeds they are faster. If you found one for a good price, I say go for it. The price of them has gone up tremendously since they were discontinued and replaced by 9600 pros. Where they were selling for around $160 they have gone up to near $200. I think sapphire would be the best brand to get, but whatever you can find for cheap would probably do.

you're never gonna see that rebate if it is a tiger rebate

also, at stock the 9500 pro is faster. when both are OCed performance is identical so i would just get the cheaper one if you are gonna OC

its actually a visiontek rebate, so im ok.


Is visiontek a good kind of card to get??

i like tigerdirect so go head and order and they will get your order and alot of pppl hate them! This was my 1st company ever buying online from so there safe and have good CSS but i think there CSS is mostly chinese or japense.
