I'm thinking of buying an OEM Seagate SATA drive, but I am not particularly aware of what cords and such I should order. I guess I need SATA cords or something? :p

And where would be the best place (or a good place) to order these from? Thanks :).

You'll need a regular SATA cable as well as a SATA power connector unless your HDD comes with a molex power connector.

Would the DFI lanparty Ultra-D come with SATA connectors? I'm lookin at the DFI lanparty's pics right now, but since I have no idea what SATA connectors look like, I can't tell if it's packaged with the mobo :p

If you look go to this link at NewEgg for the DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D and double click on the pictures near the upper left of the page and look at the fifth photo from the left in the series of 6 pictures it appears that in the bag at the 3:00 PM position there is both the molex-to-SATA power adaptor AND the SATA drive cable you will need. The drive cable supplied by MOST mobo manufacturers is red but because the other cables packaged with the DFI board are yellow it APPEARS that they chose to use a yellow SATA drive cable. That makes sense doesn't it ???

Keep in mind this is the RETAIL package of the board, NOT OEM.

Thanks for your help. I hope I didn't incite any sort of derision from you, because I did state I actually had no clue what the SATA drive cables looked like..

But thanks all, once again :)
