If I buy a new car on a Friday/Saturday

Obviously my insurance company can't give me coverage until Monday. What happens until I can get a hold of my agent if there is a problem??
 
Call your agency's 1-800 number. When I picked up my Accord on a Saturday afternoon, they got me squared away. Your insurance company should be able to fax a temporary proof of insurance certificate to the dealership.

IIRC when you get a new car from the dealer you have a one month insurance grace period if you already have insurance. but don't take my word for it.
