Not bad 🙂, though I don't really intend on using religious icons in a serious political debate.

If you are saying Jesus as God as President making his second coming then imagine this:

A world at peace
A world without pain or sorrow
A world where no one is hungry
A world where no one is sick

In other words, a no good liberul.

The Republican swiftboating would be unprecedented.

If Jesus were alive today, the same thing would happen to him now as happened to him 2000 years ago. He would be persucuted by the masses, and executed.

He wouldn't even let his friends defend him.

Can you imagine the persecution from people like Conjur? His head would explode as he linked to every extreme left website he could find to discredit him.

I was thinking it would be from the people like you, you are against just about everything Jesus spoke about. Funny how far the right is from the teachings of Christ...

It's a daily task for this guy...

If you listen to the fundies, he would have already nuked the Middle East while placing a protective magic Jesus shield over Israel. Then he would have down the same to France.

its hard to say wether he would piss off the left or the right more. No doubt people on both sides would want him dead. However the people MOST pissed off are those who often say what jesus *would* do, when in fact he's not really what a lot of people today make him out to be. Jesus was a hippie, no doubt, but he was not a socialist by any means. If you told Jesus you wanted to help people, he'd probably tell you to get out and help people. Which is not the answer todays socialists want to hear. They would rather he said "force other people to help people", he was more the lead by example type of guy.

I dont think americans would like a lot of his basic teachings, applied at any level.

If someone strikes you, turn the other cheek....
If someone steals your coat, give him your shirt as well....
Let him without sin throw the first stone....

For some reason I dont think any of these would fly in America today.

Jesus would be the ultimate ambassador, a few minute chat with someone like Hussien, and Hussien would do a 180. That is if Jesus were divine as we're supposed to believe. I think the stories about Jesus are great, but misunderstood.

Jebus is here. Head to downtown SF, Sproul Plaza in Berkelely, Times Square, Center City (philly), or any other dense urban area and you will find pleanty of "god's sons" roaming about making lofty claims. Jebus was a head case, insane for thinking he was the "son of god." However, he must have been one hell of a charlatan to amass such a following.
