BACONATOR

guys wearing Wendy wigs

I find those commercials vastly more annoying than the Antarctica cows commercial.

Did you guys see that Burker King commercial that was raunchy?

The mechanical Burger mascot makes a couple some food and at the end, the woman says in a seductive way, "he's so good with his hands."

It seems kind of counter-productive to argue fresh vs frozen, when nearly all the beef being discussed here is grain or corn-fed total confinement stock.

If Cows were meant to be Hamburgers, wouldn't they sporadically stampede into oncoming Traffic?

If burgers were meant to be served with bacon, why don't pigs ride cows?
If food was meant to be cooked without butter, why don't soybeans partially hydrogenate themselves?
If a grown man opens a restaurant dedicated to a 6 year old girl, is it libelous to call him a pedophile?

I don't really get it.

how does Wendy's get their hamburgers if the meat is never frozen? I've never seen a heard of cows in the back of my local Wendy's.

Well it could just be refrigerated, however it doesn?t stay fresh nearly as long, and the logistics of supplying all their chains with non frozen meat daily just seem impossible

I think they are not telling the truth

Mega corps are not stupid enough to tell an outright lie through their commercials.

A quick googling shows:

Not at all. Refrigerated and frozen are vastly different things. McDonalds, Burger King and most other fat food joints get pre-made DEEP frozen (Sub-zero, not just under 32 degrees) that they make their burgers out of from central commissaries. Wendy;s buys its ground beef from local suppliers, and never freezes it. This makes a very big taste difference. Freezing ruptures cell walls and causes texture and taste changes. Deep freezing does even more of this.

I know this becasue I have spent more than 3 decades in the restaurant business.

i would like to see actual proof ont his.

i get my beef (yes in bulk) from a locl ranch/meat shop. they flash freeze it before delivery.

i have had a fresh steak (not frozen) and one i pulled out of my freezer 5 months latter. they both taste the same. both far better then any store in town.

I don't like it either. If a burger were meant to be anything, it would be cold and raw.
