If hackers shutdown Twitter and Facebook around 2 weeks before the election would it help in mitigating Trump?

Don't they do this in some countries? France does something like this, iirc.

I think the French government prohibits virtually all election coverage from the day before the election till when polls close.

44 hours.

"This period of legal prohibition on campaign communications is observed for 44 hours before every French presidential and legislative election.

“Starting from the night before polls open, it is illegal to publish or broadcast by all means of communication any message that may be categorised as electoral propaganda,” France’s Superior Audiovisual Council, or CSA, said in a statement."

Typical Progresshevik calling on their totalitarian comrades to interfere yet again. No free speech for you. Free speech only for comrade Democrats.

This Russia Democrat thing you keep trying to do is getting really tiresome.
What has our current President done to secure the election process? What has he done to be “tough” on Russia?

#MowcowMitch is sitting on numerous bills passed by the House, protecting the commander-in-thief.

Hey fuckface, your God already asked for help from Russia and China on the lawn of the White House. I'm just trying to get some help to even the score.

Unacceptable means of address. Personal attack. Infracted.

and then Trump got on the stage and denied with Putin next to him Russia intetfered in the 2016 election going against all our countries intelligence agencies.

So what's you point?

What do you think Putin cares about more? Having Trump say something he likes or having Trump sign sanctions against Russia, expel his diplomats, require that Russian embassies be closed, and arm Ukraine?

Trump signed the Russian sanction bill into law - but only after Congress passed it with a veto proof majority. Trump resisted. He called the bill an unconstitutional encroachment on executive power. As for all the other things you mentioned, I'm sure he's apologized to Putin in a "private" perfect pone call. "It wasn't my fault!, they made me do it!" - "All my loans are in good standing?, right?".

And arming Ukraine? The expulsion of diplomats and closing of diplomatic facilities in response to Russia expelling ours? Are all of these because he was forced?

As far as I can tell, Trump's actions towards Russia haven't been either Russo-philic or -phobic. Neither was Obama's for that matter.

He didn’t arm Ukraine until word got out he was holding those arms shipments up.

Those sanctions were passed by Congress and Trump was forced to sign because it would have been overridden. He then sat on it for almost 1 year before implementing. Does that sound like someone who wanted additional sanctions?

I see you don't care Trump embarrassed this country on the world stage by sucking Putin's dick live. I'm amazed by what you will tolerate from Trump yet castigate Obama for wearing a tan suit.

i don't know why you have such a hard time figuring out what free speech is, or such a hard time figuring out who interfered previously.

He announced he would arm Ukraine in December 2017. Or are we now favoring actions over words, whereas earlier we favored words over action?

You mean like the "action" of sitting on new sanctions for almost 1 year?

How about taking "action" of passing some of the election security bills sitting on Mitch's desk? But I guess that's too much "action" for you people.

I'd be down with pulling the plug on all social media a month before the election, and stopping every opinion piece as well.
