[this is hypothetical based on a student's (with republican parents) view]
If Gore wins the election, all high school and college students will have permission to fail out of all of their classes and take jobs paying up to, but not higher than, $40,000 per year. Why? Simple... if Gore had his way, the upper class would be paying 90% of its money to the national government. A family making $200,000 per year would have ~$20,000 left after taxes. However, someone making $40,000 per year, who will be moved into the 50% tax bracket, will also have ~$20,000 left after taxes. So what is the point of studying hard and getting a good job, when it all evens out in the end? I would rather go to high school for 4 years, party and make Cs or Fs, get out and have an easy job, than go to high school and study, then go to college and study, get out and have a difficult or stressful job.
Second, if Gore wins, murder will be legalized. The new law that will go into effect will lengthen the amount of time one can have an "abortion" to the time where the infant is a full 364 days old. Unfortunately, mothers, once the child is one year old you will be unable to exterminate it.
Yes, that is the kind of society I want to live in, I swear.
BTW, if flaming starts, don't forget I realize I'm probably biased; furthermore, I probably don't know as much about either of these issues as I should -- all I know is what I've heard from the TV and certain other biased folks (such as my parents).
Edited to fix typos.
