If given the chance for a free upgrade...

As much as I'd like tp upgrade my P4 2.4C, I need the hdd space a lot more right now. Couple of 250GB drives should cover me for a while.

Azureus has taken my 480GBs to next to nothing...damn TV shows...
 
Being totally free... and only 1 component upgrade... LCD would be my choice... sorry dont have any on hand to recommend but I would hunt down the biggest and baddest LCD since it is usually something you dont upgrade every year and be a costly upgrade.
 
I'd have to say that if I could get my 2.0ghz A64 3200 to run at 3.0ghz, I'd be all over that! 🙂
 
would have to upgrade mobo...processor...ram.....everything really...my machine is 3 years old ffs

I have a geforce 5950 ultra which is totally bottle necked by my 266Mhz bus, PC2100 RAM and 1800(palomino sucks ass)xp+
 
LCD. 19" LCD would be really cool. 50% OC, eh. $150 more video card wouldn't even net me a 9800Pro so meh on that too. Don't need 2GBs of ram and my 250GB HD is fine for now. So....when you gonna send me that LCD? 😉
 
I would love either the Dell 2001FP or ViewSonic VP201? I know that they are the same and equally outta my price range. Sure would be an improvement over my 17" Philips crt.
 
none of the above, i'd get a ceiling mounted high res projector for some serious gaming on my basement wall 🙂

even at 1024x768 i'd crank up all the AF/AA and still get serious wood 🙂
 
50% faster cpu would be interesting, but completely unnecessary (got a fx-53 right now). So I picked LCD since I'm using a 21" CRT right now 😀
 
Well, I would have taken the CPU, but it would have meant needing to have a new mobo too, which was not offered. So, I took the most expensive upgrade. I have a 19" CRT. Gimme the 19" LCD please. In fact, I'd say that anyone that didn't take that deal is a foo. If you don't like LCD, sell it and get a new CPU, mobo and top of the line video card with the proceeds. 🙂
