Usually you get the line "I look at all sorts of news sites" but when you push you find out that they are simply using references found in the opinion piece
Tucker - BBC news is reporting that antifa has overun Sweden
Tucker viewers - > I get my news from BBCNews

What did the article say?
Tucker viewers - > (Repeats what Tucker said about the article)

Conservatives passing FOX talking points around is much like a fisherman out to sea that hooks into a five pound rock cod and as the fisherman is about to haul the fish aboard, the fish breaks free and swims away. So by the time the fisherman docks and comes ashore the fish he lost turns out to be an 800lb. bluefin tuna that almost pulled him overboard.

You know those folks who claim to hear radio signals from their fillings (or the plates in their heads)? Those are Fox News viewers. The only news they believe is true is the news beamed straight down by the orange turd aliens on the planet Neebo.

Orange turd aliens....Great Orange Turd.... h'mm. I wonder????

Well, never mind that the "news" they often get is false or distorted...

If it's not from Fox, it's from Daily Caller, Gateway Pundit, Washington Examiner and other hyperpartisan outlets. And let's not forget the ones who cite Project Veritas despite its long history of manipulating footage and outright lying! It's kind of amusing to see the diehard conservatives whine about "liberal bias" when they almost always cite outlets that don't even try to hide their biases. They love bias, they just want it to be their bias.

Don't get me wrong, there are hyperpartisan left-wing outlets like DailyKOS... but I don't see people depending on those nearly as often, and I get around. Not even MSNBC all that often. In a sense, it's because you don't have to turn to them — very neutral sources like the AP and Reuters can present unflattering views of modern conservatism simply by telling the truth.

So much this. This is my family in a nutshell.

"We talk politics all the time"... Sitting around repeating what Tucker said and all nodding.
