Seriously man I can't recall having a poster on here that was more confusing than you. For some reason it always looks like your trying to say something but it comes out garbled and incomprehensible.

If you have an idea please make sure that it's well thought out and at least use a couple of lines to explain yourself.

What is wrong with you and making up all these fakes cards??? You must really make threads just to get attention.

Tweakboy must of been dropped off on the planet 2 years ago. As much as I hate nvidia's "marketing" they haven't lost shit.

Where can I get one of these 5990's? I bet it still uses less power than a 480. lol

The 5990 that tweakboy is referring to are the OC'd 4Gb 5970 monsters that Sapphire & Asus are putting out. I've seen at least at leat one article refer to them as unofficial 5990s.

I've seen the same fools refer to the OC'd 2Gb 5870s coming out from Asus & Sapphire as 5890s. Basically the sites are trying to get traffic from those search terms.

I heard Ati/AMD's new part, code named "Cotton Candy" and named GeForce Niner Ti-5000 HD7799X2 (with 1531 shaders and 75mb Vram) is going to be released by Nvidia next quarter. That should provide some good competition to AMD, and hopefully lower prices. I will def sli them and discuss costs.

Your post is just sooo damned confusing and incorrect. I'm still a fan of ATI's 5xxx series

Well . AMD/ATI do seem to be in cats bird seat. The R600 was late really late. The 5000 series wasn't meant to battle Fermi . NI is Fermi competion. Considering Fermi is not that much faster than AMDs 5000series . AMD is setting good . The 40nm version of NI is suppose to release in the Third QT . That should give back AMD the single card lead . Than its Who is best at 28. Amd has proved the R600 was a better tech than the NV 8800gt in its final form . All can see that . Now Its Fermi against AMD NI. So NV gets the title back for 4 months with a pretty crappy chip Heat and power and Noise wise.

None taken but the R600 and Larrabee are the only 2 hardware products I missed at performance. I not counting larrabee since intel decided to do it at 32nm . Probably a good move Now that I have seen Fermi.
