If everyone on AT forums bought at least $50 of stock in one day, would it impact the price?

That would be over 5 million dollars.

Would it be legal, or would it be considered some sort of insider trading? (Assuming we planned it out).

$5M dollars is a drop of piss in the ocean of urine that is the stock market.

Addtionally, AT has about 500 core people that log in on a daily basis.

More additionally, AT's forum base has a mean age of approximately 21 years old. Most still live at home and collect an allowance. They couldn't afford the $50 to buy anything.

5 million is absolutely nothing, even for an upper-medium sized compnay it's barely noticeable. Say someones stock is at $30 and has a volume of a 1.5 shares, 5/45 isn't going to make anyone notice unless you say you'll by at $50 or something.

5 million in a company that has a market cap of 45 million and no one will notice? I don't agree with that... You (or at least ATers) would suddenly be a major shareholder of the company as defined by SEC rules. (10%)

not a market cap of 45million, a volume of 1.5million x $30, volume is number of shares traded in a day.

Oh.. got it.
