just summon 4Chan and Lulzsec to hack it. And in the process, hire lawyers to shut it down. Problem solved.

The staggering amount of porn I have looked at would probably make it pretty hard to get past any sort of filter. I guess I'd better get comfortable with waiting tables...

I don't know if the computers could handle my intelligence gathered altogether in one source. Surely it would overload the system.

They'd just flush twice. Then spray some Glade.

I guess since I don't have an employer I don't have to worry about the gorilla sex getting out.

Anything you say/do online CAN be traced back. Sometimes we tend to forget this. But if your employer really wanted to they could google stuff and find out a lot of stuff you say on various forums and from that point on follow you on said forums.

Never call out your employer by name on ANY internet system, whether it's a forum, blog, facebook etc. People get fired for that all the time.

Yes, and it will happen in the future. It's why I cannot believe some of the crap people willingly put on facebook.

Facebook is an extreme example.
I dont think theres ever been a BBS, forum, social site, or one single location in general where people have shared as much personal stuff openly.
Its actually kind of scary if you think about it.

I have some cousins who have thousands of pics on there, tells a story of rampant drinking, and then filthy language (and they have all their relatives on their list, too).

Actually, facebook would be the safest for me if an employer happened to go on it, I keep it G rated and always have.

Even if you keep it G rated are there people who tag you in photos they have taken that might be debaucherous? Or is your whole life G rated?

Only reason I'd have any concerned is if it is taken out of context.
This.

I know I say alot of things that can be misinterpreted & taken the wrong way. But fuck it. It's not something an employer wouldn't figure out after some time. But regardless, it would not prevent me from being a hard worker & doing a great job.
Time to go to work and do help desk calls all day. /yawn

Also, I guess my name is fairly common. I can't even find myself doing searches.

it's funny how most of those above that say they have nothing to hide are probably some of the most anonymous posters here never giving any details about themselves.

What I want to know is how they do this:

Do they try to make up pseudonyms based on your name or something? Or find some posting where the 2 are connected?

And what exactly happens when they find something from the wrong John Smith?
Or "Anonymous." :awe:

My current SO is a forensic accountant, and he actually does this. He loves the internet and how easy it is to find evidence.

The real problem is lack of context and/or understanding of how some of us interact with one another here. If someone were to walk up behind you and see some of the stuff we all read/write they may think wtf? simply due to complete misunderstanding.
