I have XP Pro.
Whenever I suffer a system or application crash, a popup asks me if I want to send the report to microsoft. I always say no.
So I am thinking of disabling error reporting by one or both of the 2 methods I've read about: .
1. via the control panel (system - advanced), and/or
2. via msconfig (services tab: remove tick in Errror Reporting ).
If I disable error reporting, I understand I will no longer be offered the option of sending an error report to microsoft; but could someone tell me if the same error report will still be generated for me to see?
