If EOD 2012 does not happen do you think we are in for a long haul?

I mean for the last couple of decades we have heard about 2000, 2005, 2008 and 2012 to be the end of days or WWIII or something major, but haven't heard of any dates after 2012. So I guess if nothing happens on 12/2012, are we in for a long haul? no biblical threat to humanity for a long time?

I would stop thinking and worrying, if it will happen there is little you can do about it, just find a hooker and enjoy.

No, I'm sure there is some other doom and gloom date the end of the world loonies will come up with. They've been predicting this shit for decades and have yet to get it right.

"Oh my god, the world didn't end! This must mean the world is going to end!"

<panic>

Unless 2012 causes all stupid people suddenly kill themselves, there are going to be lots of doomsday stories still to come. But don't worry, I'm sure they'll get it right next time. :D

It would be a bonus if all stupid people killed themselves! :D

People have been predicting the end of the world for millenia. Early Christans were convinced Jesus would return in their lifetimes. Didn't happen. Who knows when civilization will end. The world ends for us all when we take a dirt nap. Nothing after that matters. You've only got one shot at life, so start living like it.

Didn't one of nostredamus's prophecy's mention 2017?

Anyway, its immaterial, there's always someone somewhere that thinks the end of the world is just a few years away.

Don't forget:
1. World war in 2015 killing nearly three billion people
2. Civil war in the US
3. We will need to "debug" various legacy computer programs in 2036 to avoid the 2038 Unix issue

My checkbook register has a calendar on it that goes to the end of 2012. Also, I have credit cards that expire after that year. Obviously, this whole end of the world in 2012 thing is a huge hoax! :rolleyes:
