If you don't have a smartphone with internet access and want to be able to access the internet on your laptop/tablet/whatever when your vacationing/on trips/etc I just wanted to share some info with those of you out there. I looked through all the carriers and after reading lots of info and comparing everything, the smartest choice for no contract prepaid mobile plans is to go with T-Mobile from Walmart.
I was looking into this because when I go on vacation to my Aunt's condo in Florida I want to be able to get on the internet on my laptop for just the 4 weeks or so I'm there each year, if you buy the t-mobile 4G mobile hotspot device from Walmart for $85 then all you have to do is buy one of the prepaid cards whenever you want to get on the internet, ($35 for 3.5GB or 60 days is probably the best). You have to buy the device from Walmart though to get the 60 day prepaid cards, if you buy it directly from t-mobile or somewhere else it's only good for 30 days, they have some kind of deal setup with Walmart.
If anybody wants more info, here are the links, I don't think you can beat this pricing for mobile broadband by using any other kind of carrier/tech.

They have several other prepaid cards like $50 for 5GB or 60 days. The other cheaper prepaid cards are only good for 30 days, only the $35 and $50 are good for 60 days.
Just thought I'd share this info after reading through all the options in case there are people still out there that don't have a smartphone with a data plan but want to be able to get on the internet while out and about and don't have access to a free wifi hotspot.
