What would the government response be? IMO we may very well end up in a fascist state, even more so than now. Hate to think my government would persecute its citizens but it seems like all laws, financial decisions and Constitutional rulings are leaning toward government/corporate interests. What do you think would happen?

I think we would see mass vigilantism. My guess is terrorist will instead pick places like Europe to attack. There will be no large scale attacks, but we may see smaller independent attacks.

That's kind of my reasoning for thinking that nothing is coming, at least in the form of any kind of organized campaign against America. Schools, buses, malls, national landmarks, etc ...all easy, soft targets to could paralyze the nation, but yet ...nothing.
