They'd probably be the ones who started religions around here in the first place. When you've bored up in your spaceship what else can you do besides convincing some backwards moronic people that you're a god?

Well they believe in god so they probably want to kill us for not praising clogdor or whatevathafuck
 
God either exists, or does not. No amount of belief or disbelief in God will change whichever is correct. So there's no point in doing either.
