Well, this assumes (as many other posters have) that the 6600GT will be available -- that is, widely available, at MSRP, in AGP -- in 2 months. It might be. It might not.
BUT, if you can wait, it will certainly be a better deal than a 9800Pro at $200 (not that the 9800Pro at $200 is a terrible deal; it's just that you might get a card that's a bit faster for the same price in a few months). You might also consider that if the 6600GT does become available at $200, the price on the 9800Pro will likely drop.
If you're less interested in waiting, you might also want to look at a used 9700Pro or 9800 (the regular 9800, not the 9800SE), both of which are ~10% slower than the 9800Pro and running under $150 used (I just looked on Ebay; some 9700Pros have been going for as low as $120 recently, probably because a lot of people are upgrading from them and demand keeps falling. They're still about $140-150 in FS/FT here).
