If a program has SSE and 3dnow instructions, which will the Athlon4 use?

I doubt it, in fact we are just now starting to see MBs with "BETA" bios releases to support SSE in the Athlon4s. But just like 3dnow, if the program is widely used and the performance jump great enough, they will patch it.

I guess it depends on the program.

Does it ask "do you support SSE?" or "do you support 3Dnow?" first...whichever it asks first would likely be the one that's used.
