It will address it as 192mb, but yeah unless it has 2 slots and you can put a 64mb in with your 128, buying a 256 that will be seen as 192 is probably your most feesible option

It has 64 onboard, so the max is probable 128mb that you can add and that gives you 192. If you add a 256mb it MIGHT work if you upadte the Bios and it is double sided low density ram, but chances are it will only show 128mb of the 256mb you put in.

Some PCs will complain that the maximum memory size has been reached and won't let you boot.

Since it looks like your system already has 64MB of onboard memory, so that means you only need to put in another 128MB stick to read that limit.

Depending on how many slots your system has free, you can keep your existing 64MB and add in another 64MB stick to get 192MB. Or if you only have one slot, you need to toss your 64MB stick and replace it with a 128MB stick. Add that plus the onboard 64MB will give you the maximum 192MB limit.

And I think any HDD will work fine, provided it's the right physical size.

440MX runs no more than 128 MBytes per SODIMM. That's because it can't drive RAM technology above 128 Mbits per SDRAM chip, and a SODIMM can contain no more than eight chips.

yup what he said ^^

your current module is probably 64mb (add that to the 64mb thats on the motherboard and your current setup is 128mb) swap out the 64mb for a 128mb and your laptop will be at the max

should work, assuming your notebook doesnt use proprietary ram

by the way your current ram is pc100, but the new stuff is pc133 (shouldnt be a problem but sometimes the boards dont like pc133)
