If a motherboard accepts ECC unbuffered memory, that means it won't take ECC registered memory, right?

I am pretty sure thats right, but I just wondered. The motherboard in question is the Asus NCCH-DL.

As far as I know that is correct. All the buffered/registered memory I have dealt with has had a (slightly) different pin layout than non-buffered/non-registered memory. A notch would be off in a slightly different position.
