If a girl offers to pay on a date, do you let her?

How many times does a girl have to offer to help pay for some/all of a dinner/movie/etc. on a date before you give in a let her (if you even let her at all)?

EDIT: Bonus question... would you feel comfortable letting her pay for everything on a constant basis?

" If a girl offers to pay on a date, do you let her?"

If you are a girl/women as well, right away.
If you are a man, never.

when you know she will get pissed off if she doesn't get to pay, i will let her pay.

That's what happened to me. I paid for everything even though she offered. Until she told me that she would be extremely and seriously pissed off if she didn't get to pay, I let her...she meant business. :D

I would say it depends who's taking who out.

If you are taking her out, you pay.

If she is taking you somewhere, she pays.

If neither, split costs.

If a girl offers more than once she had better be prepared to pay.

Asking once is being nice. Asking more than that is offering to pay, IMO.

I've heard different responses from girls and how they've offered like 3 times, the guy said ok and then they didn't like that he gave in.

I'm not looking to play games, so if you want to be nice say it once, if you want to pay then ask me twice. :)

Edit: I should say that this doesn't apply to first dates. This only applies if I've been dating a girl for a week or two.

I wouldn't let her pay... If she wouldn't accept letting me pay, then I'd find someone else to date, since we are obviously incompatible.

I pay for if it whether she pays or not, I'm the only one that works outside of the home.

If she offers, I refuse, and if she still insists after 2 exchanges of "I'll pay" I'll let her pay. This kindof a silly question, though. You pay if you want to pay, regardless of your guest's gender.

That sums it up good for me.

This is very true. If they REALLY want to pay they'll just beat you to the check and do it before you can object. It's happened to me a couple of times. It's very attractive to see a woman take charge like that.

My gf and I are both college students without a lot of money. We tend to take turns paying, or whoever can afford it easier.

I'll let a girl pay for stuff, why not? Guys aren't obligated to pay for everything anymore. Sometimes I'll pay, sometimes she will, sometimes we go dutch.
