If A dealership refuses to give me a incentive, and I've paid for the car, do I have any rights?

I still can't believe you were worried about the revs dropping at idle when you engage the AC, you do know how an AC unit in a car works don't you? Surely you could just have asked them & they'd have told you it was perfectly normal, especially if teh AC worked fine? ;)

revs rise on all modern cars when the ac is turned on to compensate for the extra load. The revs are not suppostd to drop.

my rpms are pretty constant even with the ac on at idle
it doesn't go up.

This is what I would do.

What kind of incentive was it?

From the sounds of it, you seem to have a little buyer's remorse...

Come on OP, be realistic for a moment. Even if they had told you they would give you the incentive, if it wasn't written in the contract you signed, you would be SOL. In this case, they said you wouldn't receive an incentive before you purchased the vehicle. However, you still decided to purchase said vehicle. You have no case, move on and enjoy your new vehicle.

I'm not that bitter, I like my car(little bit of a toyota fanboy) and the incentive isnt that big of a thing, I was jsut wondering whether it was the norm to be denied incentives.

as for the rpm thing, look at your tach closely. Turn on car, put it in d(or N if you have a manual) and watch the rpms climb up a bit. All cars should do this. Tersted on 2000 Mazda MPV, '02 4-Runner, 2003 MR2 Spyder, 1996 SC300. I had 2 coworkers(combined 40+ years exprience) tell me that was the case also in their exprience. Its not a biggie, im selling it asap now, just wanted to make sure it was pristine for the next owner, and a bad idle is not good. Probably moving on to a more luxiorioussporty car(540i, Lincoln LS, another Lexus SC300) or a sports car(another MR2 Spyder).

Why would the farmer give you the milk for free when he sold you the cow that he just milked from?

The dealer can't advertise an incentive, and then just not deliver on it.

It's against the law to run out of stock? So if Safeway advertises 2 for the price of 1 on bread, and I go and there's only one loaf on the shelves, I can sue them?

He had no choice? Do you mean the dealership dragged him out to the back alley, forcibly removed his wallet, and wrote themselves a check for the amount of the car? Did they coerce him into signing the agreement using some sort of mind-control serum? How the FVCK did he not have a choice?

Companies should not have to coddle you if you have no common sense.
