Cop says i was going 68 in a 45mph zone (i was going about 60, BUT its a wiiide road where 55mph is kind of the unofficial standard.) he was coming in the opposite direction on a bike, so i doubt he could get an accurate reading. anyway i was polite and addmitted i was speeding, and he asked me if i'd ever had a ticket before, i said "no, and i don't want one today either, it won't happen again :)" then he let me go.

That's what I was imagining at first.... some police officer biking down the road with a bicycle helmet on sees a car go by and he starts peddling furiously with some sort of siren attached to this bike. It made me smile.

No, it does not go on your driving record, but the 10-38 does go onto record, and it does have your name on it. So it is possible to look up how many warnings you have received.

Guess you weren't there at that time, then. ;)

And if you were stopped, they called in your plates when doing the stop, and when they did, they log the stuff they run in the logs that they keep.
