If a car was designed by a woman from the ground up how would it look?

Just curious.

Anybody have any suggestions?

What type of options would it have?

You think the interior would be played up more then anything?

I googled this as well.

It has no hood, No gas cap, No caps what so ever. There simply is a check valve. From an eng standpoint I imagine that would make things easier to break/leak. It was found that women didn't like caps and found them annoying.

In order to service the engine you have to remove the entire front end and need ample space to do so.

It would send emails to the dealer when service is needed and your dealer simply emails the car indicating an appointment time.

It also has a proximity key fob that opens the door closest to the user.

Some of the things make sense but the gas cap and no hood is bullshit in my eyes.

I would think it would be full of pillows, have curtains on the windows, a frilly skirt around the bottom to hide the tires, and a center console dispenser of... small cylindrical objects.

So women LIKE getting ripped off by mechanics?😕

Kind of funny that women don't like caps, but throw fits when the toilet seat isn't down...

BWHAHAHAHA *gasp* BWHAHAHA

It does look pretty cool though.

They were actually doing some sort of research study on the common saying that women can't parallel park. They found statistically it's actually true.

Women have a harder time parallel parking then others.

But they explored various reasons and found it possible to be low spatial abilities.

Spatial abilities are developed at childhood and can be matured by allowing kids to explore their surroundings. They did a blind study where they had the same mothers interact or take care of male children and female children.

They found mothers will commonly allow male children to explore their environment. Mothers will hold female children closer to them and not want them to explore often. There were other things mothers did or didn't do to female children that accounted for low spatial ability.

Essentially as they grow up their minds are not "hard wired" for things requiring spatial ability.

I would love to find out how they get 30k + oil change intervals on that thing.

It's kind of misleeding. It's a hybrid and I guess they are factoring in the mileage of the motors as well as the engine. So I'm sure the engine by itself needs an oil change just like any other 3,000 miles. But then again the car is for woman so I guess not tweaking and just normal hum dum driving.

for some reason, hybrids are much cleaner on oil.Back at the shop, when we did oil changes on Ford Escape Hybrids at 5000 miles, the oil would still be gold in color, almost new. You can get 15k on a conventional engine, a hybrid at 30k doesn't seem too far fetched.

[simpsons] it's the F-series. Yeah, instead of a cigarette lighter it has a lipstick applicator[/simpson]

ok, here goes:

The navigation system will only give you directions to the nearest gas station, so you can pull over and ask for directions.

There are gas fillers on both sides of the car

There are no rearview mirrors.

The tires are designed to run without air for up to 40,000 miles

[/lame jokes]

sorry, but the miata is pretty badass, find a car like it with similar weight that you can have as much fun in. quite hard.(for the same price as well.)

edit: as well as able to drive in every condition(rain, snow, with AC.) without sacrificing anything to the operator.

The Miata is hardly able to drive in "every condition" without sacrificing anything to the operator. Indeed, no car is. But especially not a low-powered RWD car without traction control...AC will rob some power, slippery conditions will be challenging for the inexperienced driver.

The Miata's a great car, I agree, but it's not impossibly good.

oh yeah, i concur its not the gretest car either, some are much better. for the price though, its good, and it isnt a womans car.....

edit: the reason i stated every condition, is that someone would suggest the ariel atom or something along those lines which you cannot drive in the cold/rain. i honestly would take a miata over alot of modern cars right now because of what it is and how well it does it.

I clicked on the Volvo link, and I thought the car looked a bit like a Viper.

Looks wise I think it would look overly sleek and ergonomic, something like a womans razor or vibrator, or maybe even an iMac.

Flight of the Navigator comes to mind, that general tear drop ergo shape.
