Recently started having a problem with IE 5. Comes when trying to access some
web sites or if I have two open and try to open any more. Here is how it reads
IEXPLORER executed an invalid instruction in module DDRAW.DLL at 015f:baac62c7
I get the exact same message when I try to watch a movie I've downloaded with
media player. I've tried tried downloading IE 5 & media player 6.4 they download fine
but will not install because of an unknown error. So I tried reloading win 98, that didn't
work either. Could I download the DLL file? and when I install it is their anything special
that I should do? Thanks All

I could be completely off the mark here.. but have you tried reinstalling DirectX? If not, try it.

Balt I'll give that a try.
I made a mistake win media player starts with RUNDLL32
but the rest is the same.

Well just tried Directx 8.1. Message follows
Extracting file failed. It is most likely caused by low memory
(low disk space for swapping file) I have 64 meg with 70%
free and can't remember where to go to check swap file size
but I let windows manage swap file.
