Can a firewire (IEEE 1394) DV card be used for video conferencing? I am trying to decide if I need a DV card or web cam. I own a Sony DV comcoder and want to make use of the firewire feature. But I also want the card to double as an video conference interface. Does anyone try this applications before? Which one should I go for?
