IE9 PDF problem

I'm sure some of you have seen this before:

In IE9 when you try to open a PDF in the browser, it comes up blank and does not load. I think it's an IE9 incompatibility issue perhaps? It works fine in firefox.

Does anyone know how to get around this problem to make it work in IE?

thanks!

In adobe reader, go to preferences/internet.....should be an option to allow/or not allow to open in web browser

Did you disable the Adobe PDF Helper add on when you saw the little box at the bottom of the screen? If so, tsk tsk.

Someone I know recently mentioned a problem viewing certain online files, I think that he meant PDF. He said he can see the first one, but the following ones are all just grey screens.

It works just fine for me. Check MSCONFIG, Startup, and Adobe Reader and Acrobat Manager should be there and checked. If that is not checked, then you have to download and open the Reader manually.

That is not limited to IE9

It happens to me also w/IE6 (MyIE2) IF THE PDF FILE IS TOO BIG!! (I have to DL the file and read it manually with my PDF reader)
