IE8 Question

Running IE8 on XP Pro SP3.
I want to turn off the auto suggestion feature that pops up each time I begin to type in a website address. For example, let's say I want to visit this site. When I start to type www.a, all sorts of suggestions beginning with the letter A are offered. It's annoying as hell. Thank you.

The easiest way to do that was when you first used IE8. Turning off the suggested MS crap was part of the initial orientation.

After that, suggest you put up the Menu Bar (on top) and look in Favorites. Find all those suggested sites and thingies and delete them from Favorites.

Then go to Tools, Internet Options, Content and uncheck auto complete, etc.
