IE8 and FF question

if there a way in both of these browsers to remove formatting when you copy and paste?

what im talking about is if i copy a word from a webpage and its say bolded in 20 point font it will paste the way. i want it to paste in plane txt at the default size of where i am pasting it


Opera works this way no other browser seems to

I frequently copy from Internet and paste into Notepad. That removes formatting with IE. I think FF works that way too.

I can then go from Notepad to anywhere else that does formatting and change it as deisred.

Notepad is plain text.

You can also cut and past to Word 2010 (07 I think too). the Paste option gives you a few choices including text only. But as Corky said, Notepad works as well.
