IE7 Goes gold this month.

I don't really mind. I can prolly use it. I wanna see if my site is IE7 (but not IE6) friendly.

I think people who are in a business support environment would benefit more from stopping it because they might not have tested it yet.

Good point. But I can still use it.

I figure it's inevitable right? It's integrated with the OS, it has security concerns and even if you use FF or opera you'll probably need IE at some point. They'll stop support of IE 6 at some point so I'm not gonna take issue with DLing and installing it as long as it doesn't muck up things or ah heck up FF.

. . . and why would you want to stop it? its 200% better than 6.. I use both FF and the vista version of 7.. I like both..

I'm with you. I have three computers - two have IE7 but my laptop still has 6. 7 is so much better than 6, it's no contest. It saves me from having to manually install the beta version on the laptop.

It's not bad... but I think I've gotten used to the feel and the way firefox renders. I think it's only personal preference, though. Firefox has come a long way in terms of capturing the market. Almost all of the people I know, including the completely computer illiterate, use Firefox.

Really? 99% of the people I know don't even know what Firefox is.

Actually FF market share is 14% as of a few months ago.
