IE6 Problem

I have IE 6, Win XP Pro.. recentely I noticed that every time I click on a file to download, it doesn't give me the download prompt or anything, all I see is the little microsoft sign in the top right corner waving for a while and then the file opens up. Does anyone know how to get the download prompt back?

Note: I have cleared the temporary internet files and cookies.. I have also restored the default advanced settings and reset the web settings.. didn't help.

* Seems to only happen with just .zip files.. it is opening them automatically instead of prompting me to save them..
